We are passionate about restoring native forests across the planet. Our cause is rooted in our appreciation of forests and all the gifts these ecosystems provide. Life depends on healthy forests!
NATURE’S GIFTS
Humans depend on Nature’s gifts for life, from the water we drink to the air we breathe. These gifts (called “ecosystem services”) may be direct or indirect, large or small. TREES HAVE THE GREATEST POTENTIAL TO COST-EFFECTIVELY REDUCE CARBON EMISSIONS.
Natural climate solutions are proven ways of leveraging the world’s forests, grasslands and wetlands to mitigate climate change. These solutions can hold global warming below 2°C.
The rich and dense ecosystems of tropical and temperate forests are highly effective carbon sinks. Turning less productive and otherwise unused lands into forests can capture and store gigatonnes of carbon dioxide.
GLOBAL CRISIS
WE MUST ACT NOW TO AVOID A CATASTROPHIC FUTURE.
Human activity is putting such strain on the natural functions of Earth that the ability of the planet’s ecosystems to sustain future generations can no longer be taken for granted.

BRAZIL
THE HOTSPOT FOR FOREST RESTORATION
Brazil provides a special home to Earth’s biodiversity. Ranking first amongst the 18 megadiverse countries, Brazil hosts between 15-20% of the world’s biological diversity, with the greatest number of endemic species on a global scale.
Brazil’s vast natural wealth is under threat as forests are burned and cleared to support logging, livestock, and monocultures.
REFORESTATION’S HIDDEN OBSTACLES
Traditional forest restoration is expensive, requiring intensive labor to be successful. To assure seedling survival, post-planting maintenance is required quarterly for at least 3 years; this includes irrigation, controlling leaf-cutter ants and removing invasive Brachiaria grass.
Skilled field workers must complete this maintenance, but these workers are in short supply as the work is onerous and dangerous.
IT’S TIME TO RESTORE FORESTS
LET’S RESTORE OUR NATIVE FORESTS AND BEGIN HEALING OUR COMMUNITIES AND OUR PLANETARY HOME.
Nucleário’s purpose is to create innovations that will help restore native forests. Our product acts as a multiplier effect, addressing the bottleneck of post-planting maintenance and allowing field workers to plant more seedlings in less time.
